Anthony DiMaggio is the author of numerous books including most
recently The Rise of the Tea Party, and other works such as Crashing
the Tea Party (2011); When Media Goes to War (2010); and Mass Media,
Mass Propaganda (2008). He has taught American politics and
International Relations in Political Science at a number of colleges and
